Harpeth River

Designated as a water trail, the Harpeth flows 72 miles at Class I(II) with an average of 614 CFS and optimal conditions between 300-925 CFS. The river passes through multiple access sections including the Narrows of the Harpeth, Kingston Springs, and various parks and recreational centers. USGS gauge 03433500 monitors conditions for paddlers planning trips through the system's fifteen designated segments. The Class I(II) rating indicates mostly calm water with occasional features that can push into Class II territory depending on flows.
