About

Bureau of Land Management sections through Westwater Canyon and the Moab corridor define 133 miles of Colorado River running Class II+ with occasional Class IV drops. At 6,939 CFS average flow, optimal conditions range from 3,450 to 10,400 CFS according to gauge 09180500. Seven major sections break up the run: Westwater Canyon stands alone as the technical highlight, while the Cisco to Dewey Bridge stretch offers multi-day possibilities. Dewey Bridge to Hittle Bottom continues downstream, followed by the popular Moab Daily section that serves the town's commercial raft operations. Below town, Take Out Beach to Moab Bridge provides easy access, then Moab to Potash extends the float through red rock canyon country. The run concludes with Potash to Green River, where the Colorado meets its major tributary.
